About RatHound

RatHound is a small plugin project built around one idea: get to a good sound fast. Not every plugin needs a giant browser, a million pages of modulation, or a preset pack the size of a hard drive. These are focused tools with a specific character — dub delays, 808s, glitch boxes, drum reshuffling, and physical-modeled instruments that stay lightweight.

The plugins are built in C++ with JUCE and shipped natively for macOS and Windows. No subscriptions, no bloat, no activation maze — just one-time purchases, lifetime licenses, and free updates.

RatHound is made by Craig Cowden, a producer-developer building the kinds of audio tools he actually wants to use.
