Computerizer

Ten flavors of digital character, all driven by one knob.

Computerizer plugin interface

Overview

Computerizer gives any sound a digital edge — and gives you exactly one knob to control it. Under the hood it's a full chain: drive, bitcrushing, sample-rate reduction, ring modulation, robotic formant filtering, and clocked stutter, with internal auto-gain and a limiter keeping every setting loud and safe. Ten presets each set a distinct flavor — from the gentle lo-fi of VAPOR to the all-out grit of CORRUPT, with chiptune, modem, robot-voice, and glitch territory in between. Works on instruments and audio alike: pick a flavor, turn the knob from subtle color to full meltdown, done.

Features

  • Single Amount knob — subtle at min, fully computerized at max
  • Ten preset flavors: 8-BIT, DIAL-UP, ROBOTO, GLITCH.EXE, MODEM, VAPOR, OVERCLOCK, DALEK, CORRUPT, MAINFRAME
  • Bitcrush + sample-rate reduction for digital grit and aliasing
  • Ring modulation and robotic formant filtering (talking-machine tone)
  • Clocked stutter gate for data-chopping glitch
  • Internal auto-gain + safety limiter — the knob stays musical, never a volume ramp
  • Works on instrument and audio tracks; mono and stereo
