Overview

RatDrum is for getting unstuck fast. Load your own sample folders, drop sounds onto the 13 pads (kick, snare, clap, closed and open hats, three toms, two percussion pads, crash, ride and an FX/impact pad), and use the shuffle buttons when the kit needs a new angle. You can re-roll one pad at a time or hit SHUFFLE ALL and get a fresh version of the whole kit in one click. Each pad has gain, pan, pitch, and decay, plus choke groups: the two hats cut each other, and so do the crash and the FX pad. A One Shot switch lets every hit play out in full. Each pad also has its own effects: a filter (low pass, high pass or band pass) with resonance, drive, bitcrush, attack and sustain shaping, a tone tilt, and an FX send that sets how much of the pad goes through the master FX chain of drive, lowpass, bitcrush, compression, and reverb. It is not a giant sample library — it is the engine for your own sounds.
